Are You Looking for the Samuel Dong Bubble Coat?

We here at Flourish Boutique have carried the Samuel Dong Bubble Coat. They did discontinue production of the original design after the Spring 2009 Collection. Currently we have just a precious few colors left of the original design so you can check our website www.FlourishBoutique.com or call 574-277-PINK for more info on that. However, we are all sold out of the original black version. That being said there are a few options for you!

1. Samuel Dong did make new versions and styles of the coat...one is a bubble coat with pleated sleeves and a collar that lays down instead of standing up like the original version. We can get you this coat in black, white, red, sangria, or purple.
2. Joseph Ribkoff, which is another brand that we carry here at FLOURISH, has since made an identical coat to the original Bubble Coat and we have it! So if you feel like you absolutely must have the original design...you CAN get it...the catch: Joseph Ribkoff is a more expensive line and you will have to pay quite a bit more for it...but still many people are opting for this.
3. Samuel Dong also made some other coat designs this season like a beautiful ruffle coat, which you can view too on our website. It comes in the fall 2009 color options black, white, sangria, red, or purple.
4. Lastly, I just got back from a buying show where I got to see the Spring 2010 Samuel Dong Collection. The new coat styles for this upcoming season are fabulous! And they can start shipping as soon as 12/1/09, such that our customers can expect to get them somewhere after the first week of December and there is a good chance (although we cant guarantee at this time) that you could have one for Christmas. The new styles are so pretty; but my favorite is style, Coat 1 as pictured below. As you will notice the spring colors are Black and white of course, and then Bubblegum Pink, Bay Blue (Aqua), and Pistachio (like a mint green). They are similar to last years colors but softer and prettier in my opinion. You can order any of the four styles shown in any of the five colors. More Jewelry This Week at FLOURISH!

Hello FLOURISH-FANS!

This week, we have made way for double the jewelry selection!

You may have noticed the beautiful chandelier paintings in our front room at FLOURISH over the past few months...we had three of these stunning pieces in a beautiful glass case as well. (If you have not checked out these paintings....YOU NEED TO DO SO...they are stunning!)

But, we decided to hang these on the walls, thereby freeing up double the display case room for our jewelry. We now have 6 additional shelves that will be brimming over with sparkling goodies for you to lust after:)

Notre Dame & Saint Mary's College Students Should Come Shop at FLOURISH!

Samuel Dong Fall 2009 Ruffle Coat

Samuel Dong is Famous for their beautiful Bubble Trench Coat. This year, for Fall 2009, they changed the look a bit and opted for this stunning new version. The fresh look is a Ruffle Coat, instead of the Bubble Coat. It is still incredibly flattering and looks truly couture once on.

It comes in some great colors too; like purple, red, and sangria (this is the color on our model McGee)! Of course it comes in black and white too...you can't really go wrong.

Fourth of July Sale, New Inventory, New Location, Etc!

Greetings Fashion-Lovers!

We are so proud and excited to announce that our new location in Granger at 16021 Cleveland Rd is now up and running! If you have not stopped in already, please make sure to drop in and say hello, check out our PINK (yes, Pink!) floors, and do a little shopping!

The new location is not only convenient for more people, it is also double the square footage: there is more room to brouse, more dressing rooms, more counter space, etc! And, we do have some fun new inventory with even more on the way! New to the store is Teez Her, a line of camisoles/shapewear that we also call the skinny-tanks! These great tops look like ready to wear tanks on the top and very bottom but in the mid section have a band of spanx like support and structure: use these to skip a layer of clothing. SO many times we find ourselves wearing first spanx or slimmers, then a tank or camisole, and then a blouse or other top: combine your spanx and camisole/tank into one layer with Teez-Her. A few other new designers and inventory include: Tracy Reese, Angie, and Ryu. Tracy Reese is a longtime favorite of many fahion followers; the line is contemporary usually featuring easy breezy dresses and elegant tops. Angie is a very affordable fun company. We have a pretty summer dress in right now from them as well as a nude camisole that will go with everything and a sheer bolero that has pink and leopard print too! Lastly, Ryu is another new line: this company will make Rebecca Taylor or Yoana Baraschi Lovers who might be on a strict budget very happy! This line is inspired by more expensive feminine fashion houses: they make gorgeous dresses, tops, vests, and more all with feminine details and flare! Our favorite pick by them right now is a summery yellow dress that has multiple rosettes down the front center and along the bottom hemline.

Even Newer Papillon should arrive 7/2/09, along with fresh camisoles by Mrena.

FLOURISH IS ON THE MOVE!

Flourish Boutique and Gallery is currently located on the Northwest side of South Bend. I have loved being out in the Northwest...my whole family has been longtime "Northwest-siders". My dad is a residential land developer (of Cooreman Neighborhoods) out here in Northwest South Bend, and before that my Grandparents farmed on this side of town...it was only natural then that when I opened my own business it would be on this side of Michiana....
Plus, with my Dad, Steve Cooreman, developing so many residential neighborhoods, out in this side of town, it was a natural fit: I could create a shopping option for the people and families that had moved into the neighborhoods my family had developed...I know many of these families well and love them all...so again perfect fit.

But nonetheless, if you know Michiana well at all you will quickly gather that most retail resides at Grape and Main Street in the Granger/Mishawaka area. My real goal was to first open in Northwest South Bend and then open a second location in that main retail area. But, with the current economic times I think it wise to stick to one location....so when the opportunity arose to have a location in the Granger and Mishawaka area, I had to make a hard decision...but now that it is made I am so incredibly excited to announce that indeed we are moving FLOURISH BOUTIQUE to Granger, Indiana. The new space at 16021 Cleveland Rd./ Granger, Indiana 46530 is at the corner of Cleveland and Gumwood (ie Main Street) where the old antique shop Lavender Lilacs and Old Lace used to be located. The new location not only is in the center of the Michiana retail hub, but it also doubles our store square footage! We are bumping up from 800 square feet to almost double, at just over 1500 square feet.

So what will the new store be like? Fabulous! We are working hard to redecorate the space in a really innovative and beautiful way: think glossy pink hardwood floors, sparkling chandeliers, and other great details:) We really want to make a splash and show Michiana what we have to offer! As always we will offer great clothes, shoes and accessories, as well as stunning jewelry. Our clothing has kind of an anthropologie feel...but a little less boho and more classic...we carry feminine, detailed, unique clothing at a great mix of prices points and sizes. Prices on our clothing range from $20 to $400 with most items being around $100. Sizes range from 2-16.

We hope you will come check FLOURISH out if you live in or visit the Michiana area...for now we are located at 24545 Brick Road in South Bend, Indiana...but in June we will move to 16021 Cleveland Rd. in Granger Indiana...Grangers newest shopping destination!
